GENERAL DESCRIPTION
CIO-3105AN corrosion Inhibitor is an oil-soluble water dispersible liquid formulation of large molecule imidazoline and organic amine derivatives in a high flash solvent package. The semi-polar compound in this product has a lipophilic molecular end which can effectively block the corrosive media (e.g. H2S, CO2, acids, etc.), and another polar hydrophilic end which can absorb to metal surfaces firmly. A tight protective film thus forms and keeps the metal from being corroded. This product is effective against corrosion caused by H2S, CO2, organic and mineral acids, salts, etc. It is capable of plating out on metal surface even at very diluted concentrations.
CIO-3105AN is designed to synergize the passive film and adsorption film protection effects from different inhibition chemistries. It can form combined protective films on the metal surface and inhibit corrosion caused by various corrosive factors, e.g. CO2, H2S, high salinity, etc.
