GENERAL DESCRIPTION
WDO-220 series is a liquid organic oil-soluble chemical product designed to control the deposition of paraffin. Various surfactants and penetrants are formulated with selective solvents to attain dissolving and dispersancy powers.
WDO series is used to remove paraffin accumulation from production equipment. The dispersant dissolves wax crystal and makes it soluble in crude oil. WDO-220 can keep paraffin particles in a stable dispersed state. This also prevents redeposition of the paraffin and growth of paraffin on water drops.
This product can be used by batch treatment for remediation or by continuous injection to help prevent paraffin deposits. It is preferred to apply by continuous injection to keep the system clean. A typical batch treatment can be programmed with five to ten gallons down the annulus at one-to-four week intervals, depending upon the application.
If used by continuous injection ，usually this chemical can be added at 200 to 500ppm at first. Then the dosage can be reduced to lower concentration according to the result of field practice，usually 100-200 ppm is adequate to keep system clean.
